Subject objective: | Understand the investigations of the differentiation and development of hematopoietic nut cells to mature immunocompetent lymphocytes and molecular mechanisms and verification points during this process. |
Case contents: | Molecular control of cell differentiation from the starting stem cells on the hematopoiesis or lymphopoesis model. Stem cells as units responsible for the development, restoration and maintenance of tissues and organic systems. Genetically modified, transgenic, mice: the technology of studying the function of genes; importance in basic and medical research. Hematopoietic stem cells and bone marrow transplantation on an experimental mouse model. Transcription control of genes in lymphocytes. The molecular basis of lymphocyte maturation, the signals that promote gene reshuffle, and the delay in lymphocyte development in leukemias and lymphomas. Apoptosis – the life and death of cells. |
Learning outcomes: competences, knowledge, skills that the subject develops: | 1. Set the hypothesis and accordingly the methodology of research into the differentiation and development of hematopoietic stem cells. |
