Public defense of Livija Slišković's doctoral thesis topic
The public defense of the doctoral thesis titled "Phytochemical characterization and biological effects of volatile and non-volatile extracts of sea buckthorn ( Crithum maritimum L ) in different phenophases" by Livija Slišković, a doctoral student in Molecular Biosciences, will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the lecture hall of the 3rd wing of the Ruđer Bošković Institute, starting at 1:00 p.m.
The doctoral thesis supervisors are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Ivana Generalić Mekinić , Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Split, mentor 1, and Dr. Sc. Marijana Popović , Research Associate at the Institute for Adriatic Cultures and Karst Reclamation, Split, mentor 2.
The Committee for Accepting the Topic of the Doctoral Thesis is hereby appointed:
  1. hon. asst. dr. sc. Petar Ozretić, senior research associate at the Ruđer Bošković Institute and titular assistant professor at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, president;
  2. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Valentina Pavić, Associate Professor, Department of Biology, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, member;
  3. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Franko Burčul, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Split, member;
  4. emeritus associate professor, PhD. Neda Slade, permanent scientific advisor of the Ruđer Bošković Institute and titular associate professor of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, replacement member.
