Public defense of the doctoral thesis titled "Genomic analysis and antimicrobial resistance of Campylobacter jejuni strains isolated from humans and birds in Croatia" by Silvije Šoprek Strugar, MD, PhD student in the Molecular Biosciences doctoral study program
will be held on September 8, 2025 at the Rectorate of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Hall 1 (second floor), starting at 1:00 p.m.
The doctoral thesis was written under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Arjana Tambić Andrašević, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, Mentor 1, and Dr. Sc. Luka Jurinović, Senior Research Associate at the Croatian Veterinary Institute, Mentor 2.
